About Us

In March 2020, when all of our worlds got turned upside down, Rosa, BSN, RN and Michelle BSN, RN found themselves working as nurses in the Emergency Department, on the frontlines of the pandemic.

As weeks turned into months, months turned into years, they cared for hundreds and hundreds of patients in the Emergency Department, and both later transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit to further care for their patients. They were tired, anxious, and frankly burnt out. They were desperate to find something that helped their mental health, as well as coping with the “what-ifs” of their day-to-day jobs.

In time, they realized that an outlet for both their stress was cleaning— having a clean home helped their minds relax, at least for a minute. It was then they realized the impact that a clean home has on all our mental health and well-being, bringing order to chaos.

They decided, as best friends, to open Two Girls One Mop LLC in December 2022. They will provide outstanding cleaning services to surrounding area customers, and give them a break from their day-to-day routines.

We are firm believers that a clean house can bring you that peace of mind, that sense of calm, to have the best day. Give us a call!

We support ALL healthcare workers, first responders, and teachers. We know what it is like to work in healthcare, and we want to give whatever we can to help those who are still helping us. That is why we will offer 10% off for initial cleans.

Meet the cleaners.

When we asked Erika why she decided to start cleaning, she replied “I know that it can be a stressful task for others, so it feels very rewarding to make people’s lives easier.” Her favorite part about cleaning is dusting and getting dirt out of spaces that other people may not notice, and she also enjoys glass cleaning. When Erika is not cleaning or at the library, she is often spending time with her four cats—Cooper, Tuna, Rocky and Ruby. She has become their official catnip dealer, so she stays quite busy. Erika works directly alongside one of us.
