About Us

In March 2020, when all of our worlds got turned upside down, Michelle BSN, RN found herself working as a nurse in the Emergency Department, on the frontlines of the pandemic.

As weeks turned into months, months turned into years, she cared for hundreds and hundreds of patients in the Emergency Department, and later transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit to further care for patients. She was tired, anxious, and frankly burnt out. She was desperate to find something that helped her mental health, as well as coping with the “what-ifs” of her day-to-day job.

In time, she realized that an outlet for stress was cleaning— having a clean home helped her mind relax, at least for a minute. It was then she realized the impact that a clean home has on all our mental health and well-being, bringing order to chaos.

She decided to open Two Girls One Mop LLC in December 2022. She will provide outstanding cleaning services to surrounding area customers, and give them a break from her day-to-day routine.

In July 2023, she expanded the business, hiring a full time employee, Erika. In March 2024, she expanded even more and hired another full time employee, Kaila! She is so grateful for them and all they do for our clients and our business.

She is a firm believer that a clean house can bring you that peace of mind, that sense of calm, to have the best day. Give us a call!

Our business supports ALL healthcare workers, first responders, and teachers. We know what it is like to work in a thankless profession, and we want to give whatever we can to help those who are still helping us. That is why we will offer 10% off for initial cleans.

Meet the cleaners.

When Erika is not cleaning, she is often spending time with her four cats—Cooper, Tuna, Rocky and Ruby. She has become their official catnip dealer, so she stays quite busy.
